recode my honda radio

Default recode my honda radio

i'm 0-2 on it....

since i had to swap out my battery the other day, my radio is locked in the element. i have the code, it starts with E or C and then 3 numbers.... not really sure how to enter it.

any help?

..no, your code is only numbers. 5 or 6 depending on your radio.

You need to remove the backup fuse for 5 minutes to unlock your radio then call the Honda dealer you bought it from with your VIN, they should have your code in their computer. If not you need to pull the stereo and get its serial number.

Don't you have the original radio code card? I thought you bought it new

yes, i do have the original code card. like i said, it starts with either an E or C and is followed by 3 numbers. each character represents C O D E so that once it is entered correctly, I spell CODE and im all set.

the card has a barcode and it says M256
