2005 toyota Xrunner or 2004 Lexus Is300

what would you rather drive every day?
They have about the same gas mileage. just about 20mpg give or take.
the x runner is probably a little faster, and they probably handle the same.

they both sit 4-5 people.

they are both rear wheel drive.

im just wondering what all of you would rather drive as your sole vehicle.

im debating the two.(also a Toyota FJ Cruiser thats a different story tho)

i dont know what to get... modding it probably wont be an issue. but i love audio. so the audio system would be the first upgrade.

the IS is kind of a plan jane sports sedan with Lexus badges. either you love it ot hate it but im right in the middle. i wish it was a little bit more luxury but its not.

so then i was thinking if im not going to go full luxury then i can look at the Xrunner and just have one of my friends that does interior work put some nice leather in it.
spruce it up a little bit. but then i was thinking that it is a pick up and i dont know if i could drive that every day. but maybe i could have the truck and buy another Bike for the nice weather.

but its not like the truck is 4x4 either so its kinda of a waste to have a 2x4 truck then right?
thats where the FJ comes into play........

..my head hurts...

what would all of you do?

toyota - it's newer, plus repair cost may be cheaper.

 

not really worried about age...the only reason i said 04 is300 is b/c in 05 there was no LSD.
