Remember that Tri County Customs engine swap dispute back from February - April of 2007, that was in the amount of $6000? Well.. I was going through all my old CC statements to try and figure out where all my money had gone. Well guess what! In June of 2007, there was a charge amounting to $6000. HOW I didn't catch that I have NO freaking idea. That bastard recharged my card and I didn't notice, so therefore I am $6000 in debt more than I should be. So THAT's where a chunk of my debt went, into someones pocket! My feelings are mixed between homicidal and happy right now.

I called USAA and they said I have to call back tomorrow to speak with their Financial Services department. Normally a charge has to be disputed within 90 days, but since there was already a dispute for the same charge with the same company, I am hoping there is something that I can do.

So there it is, there is a good chunk of my debt, and ya know what? TCC shut down mid-summer, so I seriously hope there is a way to get my money back..

Does HAN have any advice other than hunting down and murdering the owner?

Legally (I dont know your particular situation/back story on this matter) you should be able to take this to court should your bank not take care of it (check your states statute of limitations, but youre at less than a year so you should be golden).

If you can't get it worked out through the bank/CC then try small claims court. I would fight hard for $6k.
