Just about Brand new, with 11 miles on the odometer. Date of production was late 2005... sat unused in a garage until a few months ago when i bought it.

Well, the truck he hit may have been cruising at 60... so the rate of closure may have only been 60 mph.

I remember seeing this and the news article some time ago. The article definitely reported he was doing over 100.

I was thinking that too but when you look at his bike, you'd expect worse. On its way to going from 120mph to 0mph, that bike had to have hit things, tumbled and slid quite a bit. The tail fairing, triple, clip ons, fork, and frame just don't look messed up enough to me. But who knows, maybe it is legit. I just don't really trust anything I see in emails. :hs:

maybe he was clocked at 120, but he had time to hit the brakes prior to impact :shrug:
