Hump day thread
At home, my primary PC is messed. There's something so severely wrong with FireFox that the entire PC turns off after 4 minutes of FF application use.
As a test, I ...
fired up the machine and let it sit for 60 minutes. Nothing wrong.
played some videos and mp3's. Nothing.
used IE 6 for about 10 minutes. Nothing.
used FF normally. Nothing.
used FF on Photobucket's bulk uploader. Dead. Turns right off.
used FF on RapidShare. Dead. Turns right off.
Seems like a conflict with javascript and FireFox. A reinstall of FireFox did nothing. A reinstall of the latest java drivers/app did nothing.

The new Intel 45nm chips came out this week. They're dual core and I'm so tempted to scoop one up. The quad cores are due in 1 month and I'm holding strong until they arrive.
Then this happened. I do have a spare, working Celeron D 3.0GHz ... but there's nothing on it except a C: drive and mobo.
:wtc:
Was it the nasty kind that ran down the back of your neck and onto your shoulder?
