Doesn't matter if they ran your money through or not. I still Price Match my HD-DVD player that I got. Have gotten like $90 back so far

You can also just call and cancel and order through B&H. They are a great company.

Yeah, I've ordered photo gear through them, didn't think to look for it there.

In order for Amazon to match price it has to be sold by Amazon, not a vendor using Amazon.

I just got it. Not bad two days shipping for free... now all I need to do is go out and buy a USB cord for it, needs USB 1.2, I figure that I'll pick one up at BB this weekend.

I've imported records... that piece of equipment is unnecessary. All you have to do is take a RCA --> 1/8" male cable, and plug the 1/8" end to the "audio in" on a soundcard... get a program, play the record, and hit "record".

The USB interface seems a little simpler, though.

If you have a MM (moving magnet cartridge) that may work, but I have low output MC (moving coil) and need a preamp before my preamp already. I'm not moving it and it's transformer to my office.

Ah... I bought a fairly modern turntable, and it's got a handy preamp on/off switch. It seems alot of the newer recievers have preamps built in to the phono channel... i use it all the time.
