I don't get charged less when I don't watch Encore for a month, so why should I pay more for the same connection to the internet?

Also there are a lot of people who are online 24/7... it would cause a drastic change in online behavior if they were to charge this way... hell if it were me I'd probably stop using the internet altogether.

They'd have to implement a user side bandwidth usage meter too.

How the hell is the consumer supposed to be aware of what they're being charged for? Check the website and get charged to see what their bill is?
