They recommend deferring AFTER your get your Bachelors though right? I hope you get shit worked out dood. Too much time off might be tough. Over the holidays you seemed pretty good with everything.

Either way hope it's the best decision. Best of luck man. WHy not move down to Florida instead though? Nicer weather and I either have a room for you here to rent for damn cheap or we could find a place together! Think about it!

I could have chosen Florida but I know way more people here, it is closer to my family in Syracuse, and because RIT is on Trimesters it's not too late to sign up for a class or two.

Instead of dealing with the issue at hand, you ran and purchased a Porsche.

Instead of dealing with your life in Baltimore, you're running and moving.

Nothing will get fixed if you keep avoiding things. You're only delaying and ignoring something that's bugging you. Part of being a man isn't physical strength, it's confronting and overcoming obstacles.

I can't really argue with this. You are probably right (especially about the Porsche :chuckles. But at the same time I know my limitations. I am honestly afraid of how depressed I would get living in Baltimore alone and I doubt I would make it through the semester. I'm just not ready yet.

I'm not sure how many difficult things you have gone through in your life but this year has been a bitch. It's not just the divorce. I just need a break from my life to reassess things and get myself together mentally before returning. I'm not sure if you'd call that running away or not.
