AT&T holds the exclusive rights to the iPhone. The only place to get it is though them.

You can purchase the iPhone (via eBay) and run executables against the firmware to "unlock" the phone for different providers. How it's done and difficulty of job are things I have no idea about.

 

eh, not like id be gettin one anytime soon. bought a new phone w/ verizon about a month ago. but then in 2 years...:hsugh:

 

honeslty it's not hard at all... i did mine and i was surprised at how easy it was. Keep in mind i did it for the First Firmware. You dont need to buy it form Ebay just go to the sotre and do everything yourself

 

att service is great around here i just ordered a treo 750 with media max plan that includes unlimited internet and 1500 texts for 29.99 but i had to call to get that and they waved the upgrade fee and gave me a 50 credit because they had me on hold for an hour. :thumbup:

My gf has the iPhone on TMo.

Not much complaints as far as service, same as it was with her previous phone (not the greatest). Battery life = daily charge.

You would need to talk to other iPhone/AT&T owners in your neck of the woods for more accurate representation.

A friend of mine has and says the same about battery life... but mine last for 2 day easy.

 

Looks like they only have the 8gb though

 

im in the market for a new phone and the iphone is at the top of my list. my friend has one and it's badass. i need convincing NOT to buy one.
