Thing about this base is, you cannot work on your car in the dorm parking lot. You have to use the auto hobby shop, so i didn't bother bringing my tools since tools are provided there.

I wish I could.

wow, i thought that it was bad when vw charged me 59 bucks... and that is 7 qts of synthetic and a 15$ filter :hsugh:

honda charged me 39 bucks and they topped off fluids, checked tire pressures, etc.... so i definitely got more for my money there... and 10k intervals vs. 5k on the vw.

not having a garage is the sucks.

the $60 included topping off all fluids, rotating tires and washing of the car and vacuuming the interior. I didn't know it at the time but I still wouldn't have paid full $150 for that little.

Last oil change cost me about $30, not including the oil which I provided.

Even if it wasn't super cold out, which it wasn't then, I'd rather pay the money than go to the trouble. Despite having the floor jack, stands, etc. ready to go. Collecting and disposing of the used oil, plus the potential mess outweigh the cost to me.
