great danes in our area sell for anywhere between 1200 & 2000 dollars. based on this one as a puppy he would have been able to get about 1600.

the breeder happens to be a friend of ours as well as a customer of our business. he needed a a valve job on a pair of heads. my dad did the work and in trade got a great dane, as he has been wanting another for quite some time.

the breeder as he saw the dog grow up was a little disappointed to see how well she matured noting he could have easily made 10k a litter out of her but instead traded her for what amounted to about 600 dollars in machine shop work

Great danes do have lean back ends but she has an awful lot of bone showing. More than Ive seen on other GDs.

spend 5 minutes with her and you will instantly realize she is completely healthy. out of the 5 dogs we have on the farm, she hands down has the most energy. keeps up with the horses even in a sprint.
