Default Automotive Scanners

So I'm looking for good obd II scanner for under 200 bucks. I would like one that can give live sensor data, and the basic read and delete CELs. I would also like it if could read more than just powertrain codes, but for my price range, I know that may not be possible. So far I'm looking at the Equus 3100, Actron 9145, and the Actron 9180. Has anyone had any exerience with any of these?

That's just a code reader. It won't give live data, but thanks for the reply.

if you aren't gonna spend over 200 bucks don't bother you will be disappointed. Save yourself some money and just get a code reader. If you must have live sensor data than shell out the extra bucks.

the Equus Innova 3140 isn't half bad though. Not as in depth as some would like but if you just want decent its a good guy for around your price range.

$700 though not sure if that's how much you are willing to spend But for $700 you have a lot of capabilities

I was going to say the same thing. We have 2 for each one of our car lines.

Each team has 2 of the Benz SDS. We use 2 of those Matco scanners for our used cars and SMOG.

If you don't mind hooking your car up to a laptop, you can get lots of software and cable packages for under $200. Google "obdII software."
