After training I drove around downtown Atlanta and was on a side street near the Fox Sports Grill. I spotted a car I never seen before in person, a silver Audi R8. And damn that thing is sexy in person. I noticed a modded black Z behind it as well so I circled the block and took a few pics. They are still on my camera since I forgot my transfer cable but I went on the Z forums and posted what I saw in the appropriate regional forum to see if the owner posted there. Turns out he posted a thread up that morning "Look what I woke up to and saw parked in front of my car".

Alright, maybe that was stupid but I thought it was funny that I happened to drive by and see the same thing.

Is the black panel supposed to be there on the R8?

 

I'm not sure but I bet it isn't as much as you would think it is. I saw some similar to that in Alpharetta (outskirts of ATL but in a very nice corporate business area in the $180's). I'm sure that one is much more being in downtown and the whole area around it is getting made over with lots of nice shops and that whole Town Center vibe.
