Technically, a cocktail is 3 or more drugs, and AZT is only one drug. Taking AZT by itself won't do shit to prevent HIV infection.

isnt it true that you can kill it as soon as you get it and isnt it true that some people with hiv actually have been found to show no signs of hiv years down the road

you cannot kill it if you are infected. there is no cure. just drugs to repress it as long as your body can...and if the virus does not mutate to resist the drugs.

people with HIV can have no symtoms at all and still be infected.
