Default < needs new phone v.jan08

so my 2 yr. contract w/ verizon ends this month.. which has me phone shopping.

i think i've narrowed my options down to either:

BlackBerry Pearl 8130 or BlackBerry 8830

also, can anyone help me out with plan choices- needs/data etc...

anyone?

thanks

i have a pearl ... through tmobile, 8100

same as the 8130 except yours could handle GPS. i love it, i dont do a ton of stuff on mine but for what i do it works wonderfully

i work with a guy who has the 8830 and he loves it too. but then he's away from the office the majority of the time so 90% of his email and communication is through it.

Do you have any real need for the potential of a Blackberry? I just got the W385.
