They beat the number one, one loss team in the championship by 2 touchdowns. Do you really think they don't deserve it?
I don't at all disagree that college football needs some sort of organized playoffs but that doesn't mean these kids don't deserve this.

Guess who absolutely stomped on Illinois in a bowl game? USC.
Georgia also had 2 losses, and beat 4 ranked teams in the regular season, one of which was Kentucky, who BEAT LSU. They completely embarassed Hawaii, an undefeated team.
Saying LSU deserves it is hardly justified.

I'd like an 8 team playoff...because you could make an argument for some of the teams that finished the season outside of the top 4 for being in a playoff.
