I don't buy that excuse though I understand it is a part of the reason.

if the dollars devalue is truly causing the gas price jump then we would see the same inflationary jump in other items such as bread, eggs or anything else we purchase. Instead the prices on those items has raised less than 50% if at all.

It's nice he addresses the issue but he is full of shit just like the rest.

Do you know how many providers of bread, milk, and eggs there are in the US alone? They're not directly comparable.

I understand and you are right they aren't, but raises in fuel get passed along the chain and if fuel increased by 300% due to inflationary value then milk and eggs (as example) would also be 300% higher or at least double. Instead those items have only felt a 50% at the highest increase.

what I am saying is his logic and reasoning is bullshit because if it were inflation more than gas would have jumped.
