Tennessee Titans starting quarterback Vince Young said that his injured right quadriceps muscle is feeling better, but coach Jeff Fisher added that if the team’s playoff game against the San Diego Chargers had been played Wednesday that Young likely would not have been able to play.
Asked if Young could have played in a game Wednesday, Fisher replied, “I don’t think so.”
Young also revealed that the quadriceps injury was actually an aggravation of the original injury he suffered in Tampa Bay back on Oct. 14.
“It never, never, never fully healed,” Young said
Vince Young is questionable for Sunday's game. ESPN is reporting that Kerry Collins will start the game.
