how fast was the conveyor belt going? It will only work if the belt is slower then plane. If both are going same speed the plane will not take off

Did you watch it? they explained in theory why the plane would move forward regardless of the conveyors speed...

If a plane is stationary relative to it's surroundings it will never take off. The only way to get a plane to take off is generate sufficient wind speeds across the wings - creating lift.
