Those are some spendy cigs. Last time I checked cigs were $4-4.50 a pack. But then again, I don't smoke so I don't really care.

I remember hearing about how NYC taxes the fudge outta them. I hear the folks at the office complaining about county taxes too.


OT: Does anyone else hate the fact that smokers take about 10, 15 minute breaks a day to go and puff? That drives me nuts.

A relative of mine quit using that new pill Chantix...he hasn't had a cig since August

You know Chantix is just an anti-depressant renamed so people don't go ape shit knowing they're taking anti-depressants.

thats correct, nyc smokes run 7.50 - 8.50 depending on the damn vendor. I haven't had real smokes for about a year. on and off between then and now. no real withdrawal symptoms.

however i did used to love going on international trips, duty free smokes = $20 for a carton
