I finally got to come home for a little bit on Thursday. It's been about 6 months since I've been home. I left for Basic training in June, and went straight from there to AIT in Ft. Gordon, GA...so I never really got a break. I'm almost finished with all of my training....all I have left is one more class down there. I go back to Ft. Gordon on 04Jan08 and will be back home by 31Jan08...so I'm almost there.
Anyways, it feels great to finally be home again, I've missed it.
Doesn't it feel awkward though? When I came home after a 7 month hiatus and so used to the training environment, it felt extremely awkward and strange. Took me about 2 days to adjust.

Welcome home :usa:
Yeah, I still feel out of place a little. Things have changed a little bit since I was last here. I'm starting to adjust now...I just know that I'm not going to want to go back to Ft. Gordon when the time comes...the only thing that makes it not so bad is the fact that I only have one class left when I go back and will be back home by the end of January.
