Default HAN's Guitar Hero v.2

Referencing DarkStarr's Thread:

I've been thinking about this a lot. I propose something more like Guitar Hero....

First, we have HAN vote on one of the 5 songs f/ each level of guitar hero 1. Then, we choose a format to play, record and upload in (for example, all acoustic, done ONLY with webcam, upload MPG)

Each week (or 2 weeks) we judge via poll the winner.

Then, we do Guitar Hero 2, 3 and so on.

Maybe we can get a sponsor for weekly and a grand prize?? I'm sure we can talk to an online music store that will sponsor for a plug.

I think we should all vote on song 1, then set a deadline for like a month. Round 2 could be 2 weeks since I know a bunch of us need to break the rust off.

As to acoustic v. electric, I suggested that b/c then there is room for interpretation and it eliminates the effects of a better amp etc, and I'd bet we all have an acoustic guitar as well as an axe.

why do you have to only focus on guitar, no loving for the t-bone? I know myself and warbone can rip it up.

You talking about Bass? That isn't an issue. Every song on there has pretty bad bass lines also. I'm sure we can figure something out

Yeah, I haven't been able to continue that idea because of lack of monies for gift cards :hs:

XScar, if you need any help setting this up lemme know, I'd still like to be involved.

We should just do it for fun...eff gift cards. It will be funny. The songs should be easy enough for everyone to learn, though...or at least get close. Or maybe pick the intro, or an easy riff/solo.
