Thats what I was thinking. Imagine having a beer with dinner, and getting harassed for DUI just because.

$5 isn't much at Starbucks. That will buy half a coffee. Or half a muffin.

 

I'm pretty sure both of those are easily under $5

I could see it now... rolling around :bandito: style, getting pulled over for driving good, and ending up with a coffee card and possession / dui.

A buddy of mine is an officer over in Michigan. He told me that one time around Thanksgiving, his department had to pull people over for good driving and give them a turkey. He said he pulled a guy over and gave him a turkey or what not, wished him happy holidays and drove off. When he drove by that same spot 10 minutes later, the guy was still sitting there, pulled over with the turkey in his hands. He didn't know wtf just happened.

 

Holy shit... I'd have a minor heart attack, me thinks. I hate that feeling.
