This actually happened to me in 5th grade. My mom always packed my lunch and she usually tossed in an orange with it. She showed me how to peel an orange easily with a knife so I brought this tiny folding knife my dad gave me to school to peel my orange and some kid that had beef with me told one of the aides. Luckily all that happened was it was confiscated, then I was brought to the principal and received a lecture about school policy and knives. At the end of the day I went to the principal's office again and the knife was given back to me in this sealed evidence type bag. It was kind of humorous.
Anyway, at least the cops didn't tase that young lady.
That whole 'cops tasing everyone' thing is annoying now.
If I were a teacher I probably would have confiscated it, but after cutting up the girls steak for her. Tossing an obviously fine 5th grader into a cop car is just plain stupid.
