Default Homey got a settlement

My friend was in a car accident about three years ago, and it crunched his car (dope 9000 aero) and screwed up his shoulder. Basically, he was sandwiched between a semi and another smaller truck. Since then he has had recurring shoulder problems and a lot of physical therapy and will probably never be 100% in his shoulders.

Well, finally the trucking company's insurance is giving him a settlement. Something like $70,000, some of which will go to unpaid medical bills, some will go to the lawyer, but still, thats like $40-50k in his pocket. As soon as we can get his credit fixed, we're gonna go house-hunting

Sux for your friend about his shoulder. IMO 70K is not enough for all the current damage and future problems caused by the accident.

Thats pretty much the way he feels.

But its been three years, and he was pretty much expecting nothing at this point, so :dunno:

I wish something would happen to me that would warrant a settlement for some high dollars.

:hsugh: you must be still drunk from last night....

ill take 0 dollars for nothing happening to me. not worth the stress/anxiety of fighting for a settlement, much less the pain of being hurt badly enough to warrant a settlement
