Default v6 engine id question...sandrail

have a sand rail in for repairs...has a honda v-6 in it. needs oil pan, rear main seal...basically lower end gaskets..anyway, where can I find engine identification numbers? hard to get the right parts from napa without knowing what engine it is...owner says he believes it is a "3.2 SS" never heard of it. looks very similar from top to bottom to the 3.5 we have in our latest sandrail. but with so many year and variant choices, would really rather get the right stuff straight out of the gate.

Any help or links very much appreciated.

Michael

"3.2ss" probably = J32A2 type-s motor, 3.2L V6 from the CL/TL type-S.

I used to be like that. :wavey:

Start with the block. You're gonna find the numbers. I'd make sure I knew EXACTLY what block it was before buying anything internal anything for it.

There has to be an engine code stamp on the bottom end somewhere.
