some of the guys (not my friends) used to take boxes that they had a good idea what was in it ... throw it against the wall in the truck and be like "oops look at that" and take a couple items

There's no such thing as UPS express. there's ground, 3 day select, 2 day air, next day air, express air and sonic air. There is such thing as FedEx "express saver", which is one step up from ground....

there are thieves within every company. that doesn't mean it holds true for the entire corporate operation. and if you think it only happens at fedex... you would be incorrect

my $1500 suspension got "lost" between two destinations while in the care of UPS... do i hold it against the company? no

edit: also, your friends knowing about what was going on and not reporting it only contributes to the problem.
