Craigslist Scammer
So I'm trying to offload my old intake on Craigslist and I get this e-mail:
"Hello,
I read your ad and saw your item is available..get back to me to know if its still available and amount you want to sell the item and how long has it been used. Hope to hear from you asap.
Thanks "
I send back:
"The intake system was used for about 15,000 miles. I also have a filter recharge kit I will send with it. Price is firm at $300."
(BTW the price was listed in the add in two different sections)
Scammer sends back:
"Hello,
Thanks for your mail and i will like to affirm that i am really interested in your item and will like to inform you that my only mode of paying you is by mailing you certified bank check and if you are ok with that... you can get back to me with your home address.. Payee name that will be on check and a valid phone number ( no voice mail number) ... and as soon as you receive the check and i will now send my shipper for the pickup of the item asap.... thanks "
Now... What can I send back to him? Address for local police department? :rick:
