so your house is not central a/c? you sure there are no pipes?

it is central air but not over that area of the living room. there is a big air duct on the side of the wall where it heats or cools that area, and no pipes, like i said its a cathedral ceiling, i'll get some pics later.

you should have attic, just climb up and see.

jesus fucking christ! lol there is nothing there, on the other side of the ceiling is the roof! lol that part of the house was added on before we bought it, then when we bought it we added central heating and AC. so where the original house ends there is an air duct that blows air into the added section.

Well if there is no pipes up there, and the roof is brand new. Only thing I can think of is either:
1. There is a crevise or some form of V formation where water stays
2. The roofers did a shitty job fixing roof.
