Can you use that to control the PS3's blu-ray movie player? If so, it would go nice with my setup of my tv too. I'd get if it did, otherwise i'd have no use for it. h:

I'm guessing it cannot. I have this remote and tried to add a PS3 as one of my devices and it says that the device cannot be controlled because it uses bluetooth as it's connection.

ok, so i ordered one online for pickup at the store that is literally a mile from me.....i did it on my lunch break at work & figured i'd go by & get it on my way home. so it says to wait for the conformation email before it can be picked up
:blah:

i check my email when i get back to the office before i'm about to head home & nothing .....i check my online banking & the transaction has already cleared my account

so i stop by sears on my way home. they have no record of me purchasing one, but we are able to login to sears.com to confirm the order details that it was indeed purchased & set for pickup at that location. so the manager tells me they'll just take it out of stock & when the order finally flows thru the system, it'll aotu-complete w/ them (system was having huge lag times because of the holiday)

he goes in the stockroom to get it, only to discover that they don't have any in stock ....so he calls another store that is about 10 miles away & they have one in stock. he asks them to put it on hold for me & then calls sears.com to have them transfer my order pickup location from store #1 to store #2. i went by later that eve (11/24) & picked it up

so today, i get an email from sears .com saying that the order has been cancelled from store #1 because of it not being in stock & that a credit has been issued to my bank account .....i check & sure enough, $65.54 was credited back to my account

so i called sears.com telling them of THEIR error....that they were suppose to TRANSFER the pickup location to store #2 & that i had already picked up the item from store #2. after about 30 minutes of trying to get the phone rep to understand that i had already picked up the item that i had originally paid for & they had issued a credit in error, i finally gave up

i've never had such a f'dup online purchasing experience

Good for you, I like mine. There is however one little quirk.

Let's say you want to access some specific function of a device you are controlling, that isn't directly linked to a button or displayed on the main screen page for that activity. You have to select 'devices' and then page thru til you get to the command you want. Then to get back to the main screen you have to re-choose that activity, which then makes the remote start flipping everything back around again to re-start that activity, and this can throw everything out of whack.

So, if you dive into a 'devices' menu, and want to go back to an 'activity,' make sure to cover up the IR signal dealie so it doesn't re-flip a bunch of settings.
