not so gory.. had a scaphoid fracture (wrist) go undiagnosed for approx 6 weeks.. they said it was tendinitis....... anyhow, i went back, they said it was tendinitis still.. but after asking for xrays, they found a significant fracture now its a waiting game to see if it heals right, if not..... then im screwed

been there ducky,
went 3 weeks with em telling me my wrist was just bruised ... finally sent the xrays off to a specialist and he found 2 fractures that were hard to see in the xrays ... thankfully i healed alright

it was 2 fractures right in the wrist ... went undiagnosed for almost a month. wound up in the cast for 3 months. i was always a quick and healthy healer.
no surgery needed, but i will admit my left wrist is not up to par with my right one still to this day

3 years and some change, did it snowboarding, landed with my wrist between my body and the steel rail i was previously riding down
i dont remember what bones, it was two lil ones in the wrist. theres no permanent damage, but i can def tell its not up to the same level of strength as my wrist
but maybe thats cuz of other reasons h:

pinky, yea that was my big concern that it wouldnt heal right and they would need to do pins ... which would have ended alot of the sports i like to enjoy since my mom would have become anal even more about that happening again
