we dont really have acess to unlimited wood, sometimes our gardener cuts a tree down and brings us the wood but we gotta wait a year for it to dry, or we will go buy like half a cort* for like 85 bucks i think something along that price...but its better then turning on the electric central heater.
i think last time we had wood delivered, we traded the guy work, got like 5 or 6 cord for what amounted to 2 hours of work by my dad on the guys mud truck motor.

yepp, its still less expensive then to power up the central heat. and its not like we are in mid US or the east coast where it rains, we have pretty decent weather so its not absurdly cold, i'd say maybe 3 weeks out of the year where its unbearable cold.
