Try taking 3 tests in a day you pussy.
Last finals week I had three tests in a day. Two big computer science tests and some other one.

You don't have to pass differential equation to get your degree? :eek3:

most community colleges write their placement tests to be taken cold, as in no studying

if you took up to calc you will be fine as far as material, its just a matter of not missing negative signs and making stupid mistakes

also you can generally enroll in the class above where you placed so that can be useful as well

but the majority of the time students fail the placement test, then bitch to their counselor untill they get into the higher level class they want, then fail the class 3 times and start back at a the correct lower level class 2 years later and are fucked for their entire college career

if you are really concerned then go into the cc and ask them for a practice test or a course outline for an algebra class and look those over, but i really doubt you have anything to worry about, the students i see fail these tests wouldnt be able to figure out how to post on han, so i think you will do fine

werd, I'm just looking to refresh what i already know... I didn't want to take anything less than 101 because I'll be bored to death more than likely, I'll just make a dumb mistake or forget that 2 negatives equal a positive and get placed in a 101 class h: in the end I just wanted to refresh my mind h:

Well obviously I do. The prof was a cockbag. I had an 80 average going into the final and failed the course (failing is 70 here) total bullshit. Only 4 kids passed in my class out of an initial 30...18 dropped and 8 failed. Apparently he had it out to get students that term h:

I'm waiting out either a better prof (only 2 good math profs here) or ill take it online.

Yeah it's a prereq for 3 courses I'm taking now: Dynamic Systems, Heat Transfer, Fluid Dynamics. Thankfully the ME department head is a nice guy and he signed an override for me

The course is taught by a bunch of math profs, all suck. The guy I had was a 55-60 yo Russian who hated everything and everyone but himself.
