after a long weekend, figuratively and literally...

id say we are about 90% settled into the house... lots of work. i rented a 26' uhaul and and it was pack to the gills.... and we had to leave some stuff at my parents until we get a chance to go pick it up.

my hotel room this week isnt as nice.... i got 2 queens instead of 1 king :hs: not as much room to move around and i cant use my laptop while i sit on the bed. no wireless ftl.

anyway, how was your weekend?

 

My weekend was great. The wife and I looked at 11 houses on friday. :crazyr: We've narrowed it down to 3 that we really like. I'm really partial to one in particular so now I'm just waiting to see when we can look at it again before I decide whether or not to make an offer.

Friday, watched the Avs lose, got wasted.

Saturday, homeboy's cracked transmission housing. New trans & PP. Lots of beer, then bowling, then beer pong at the pad.

Sunday, sit around and work off hangover. Went for a drive in the mountains.

All in all, I'd give it a C+

 

What happened to not drinking?

 

on work nights... I never said I was quitting, just keeping it to the weekends.

i have a great deal of Utica pride and he hasnt been there in so long, he doesnt even remember where in utica he lived (which is funny cuz i can remember the address that i moved from when i was 4).... hfawk: hate all ya want, its a great place to live.

 

I only like it because of it's proximity to the adirondacks :thumbup:

But Syracuse is just as close to the finger lakes, which are really nice.

 

I wasn't in Albany so I couldn't tell you how it was back there :dunno:
