i wanted to note your dob which means you cant possibly relate to the movie as i and my peers do anymore than i can (imo) properly relate to grease, american graffiti, or even mean girls or whatever the fuck is out these days, and you shouldnt be one to cast stones in this case

I actually saw it for the first time in HS, as a senior.
About 7yrs. ago. I wasn't paying super close attention, but I remember thinking it was ghey as a whole :shrug:
I can't stand to listen to the main song (radio/tv) whenever I happen to hear it

I think it just brings back bad memories, sub-conscious maybe, I don't know.
Those weren't good times for me(not b/c of school itself), I tend to make strong, long-lasting connections to things like that.:shrug:
