I have something exactly like it in my family room and dining room. I love it.
Oh, and what are you cutting the flooring with?
Is the subfloor good and level? No low spots?
Sweet. I'm borrowing a Miter/Mitre saw(I see it spelled both ways) from my parents to do all the cutting. I'm on slab and as far as I know, the floor is pretty level. Being that last night was the coolest yet this year, I don't want to pull the carpet up until the day of or night before.

I did my dining room floor and my master bedroom on different occasions and each time my back felt like i lifted the world after the work.
400 sq ft dining room and 400 sq ft master bedroom.
Damn those are huge rooms. I measured my downstairs living room/dining area and they came up to around 500sqft according to the online calculator I used. Then again, my house isn't baller like yours.
