uhh, you dont have to live in the Hamptons to know that 100K a year really isnt that much anymore when looking at an adult lifestyle in a city.

now 200+ yeah those six figures are ok. But most people have this prestigious 100K magic number in their head, and really, it isnt that much these days.

You could be treated "royally" (not literally) by six figures-just not a hundred grand.

This is all assuming by six figures you guys were talking about the breakin in point at 100K since the original reference was that the girlfriend was "closer to the six figure mark" than he was.

 

Honestly, 100K range in ATL, GA isn't a whole lot. I'm not that far away, but that's definitely not enough for a comfortable living standard.

In reality, I need to make 150K to be able to afford a good house @ 15yrs mortage, and living decently.
