between seasons, shows like to some time off for writing and shooting new episodes, not sure if you knew 
although, I'm pretty sure since it just ended it's season, it'll actually be delayed longer, due to the strike.

they want to get in on the intraweb revolution before it's too late. they got screwed out of royalties for the dvd sales so they want to negotiate for the intraweb now before they get screwed.
