I was this in HD during yesterday's NFL games ... holy shit, this ad got me jacked for the system. MUCH better than what they were offering previously.

 

I think that PS3 commercial is tacky and too much. I was like wow...this commercial is dumb.

 

If it wasn't for Wii Sports I would never play the Wii. :hs:

But...buy SMG, get the gift card, return SMG, use the gift card towards a 360.

Currently, the XBox360 is trying to tap the Wii market by running ads which feature children singing Poison's "Ain't Nothing But A Good Time". In the ad, 360 stage hands build a livingroom w. 360 ... attempting to replicate a family atmosphere.

So, we have:
1. kids singing
2. family atmosphere
3. mixed audience (young adults, grandma, parents)

What's the issue?
The games shown are not family games. Bioshock, Halo 3, and Mass Effect are all rated M. Take those games online and you'll instantly remove a kid's innocence on the spot. :lmao:

Monoprice has the damn best pricing around. Make sure to mess with the cart though. Their shipping is based on weight and you can creep to a certain threshold to maximize shipping.

 

the ps3 ad is pretty lame. it's mostly fat, little meat. isn't that the same set of games they've been advertising since the console released? and is that GT5 that is shown? i'll be shocked if it's released, as hyped, within the next year.

 

GT5 Prologue (50 cars, 5 tracks, 16 player online battle) is released in Japan on December 13th. The GT5 Prologue Demo (indeed, a demo of a demo) was cut loose on October 20th.

2 versions will be available ... one disc, one PSN download.

No price set if any.

No US date, but rumors have it at December 11 or 18.
