I got it and am going to reserve judgement for a couple more hours of play but so far I am thinking skate. beats it in every category :hs:

Yeah I had some hope thinking that maybe they would make it more realistic like what happened with skate but the game is still about racking up insane grinds and 50 tricks in one launch

For what it is (fantasy skateboarding) TH series are amazing, hands down. For realism, skate looks amazing. I am yet to play it however.

I tried the Skate demo. Seems really cool, but hard to control since I am used to Tony Hawk controls.

I played THPS 1-4 and really liked them despite their lack of realism. I played them to 100% completion. Never tried the rest.

ive always been a fan of thp just because i kick so much ass in that game. ive played skate and its night and day from thp both games are great in their own way.

I was playing the Skate demo on my ps3 the other day and I liked it. Just don't like skating games like that so i'll probably never buy it but who knows.
