Right now Gardena Honda has the lowest price...we'll see if Carson Honda can do better. I'll find out tomorrow if i get it for $24,488...which is only a little bit over $300 above invoice on kbb

I dont trust Vietnamese car salesmen..they lie A LOT....more than regular car salesmen.

What did u get? how much? did you finance?

I got a Honda Fit at around 16,565. That's 150 below MSRP and what everyone else in the whole SoCal was basically selling the car at. I got quotes for 16,705 from various honda dealers and the only one close to giving me the discount of 150 off MSRP was Fontana which gave me 200 but that's only because I found the guy on the Fit Forum. But 50 dollars is too much of a hassle to drive an extra 80 miles round trip.

Edit: Forgot to note, he wasn't a car salesman per se he was the fleet manager, he doesn't make commission off the car, he makes commission based on off how many cars he moves in a month.

I don't think Honda has ever used 'leatherette' in the Accord. My 7th gen has leather on all seating surfaces, headrests and armrest. They use vinyl on the sides and backs of the seats.

So I got the car down to $24,488. But then the guy wanted to charge me for Lojack, wheel locks, and mud guards. That was an extra $906. So we got them to throw in the alarm for free. this totals to $25,394. I agreed, we signed the papers...then realize...they didnt charge me for the spoiler, trunk trey, and moonroof visor. So here's the retail value:

Base MSRP: $25,960
Dest & Handling: $635
Deck Lid Spoiler $349
Splash Guards $99
Moonroof Visor $125
Wheel Locks $54
Tray $135
LoJack $595
Alarm $266 (at cost)
TOTAL $28,218

KIMS Total: $25,394

Difference: $2,824

What do you guys think? I did okay?

The color is Royal Blue Pearl

I don't really like the way the sedan looks all that much, at least compared to the coupe.

Better in darker colors though, only sedan I've seen around here was in white. Nice purchase though, regardless of how many doors it has :goodjob:

I would've gone w/ the I4 myself, especially since only auto for the sedan V6, but the V6 is heaven to listen to  (as of last gen at least)

I hope you got the lip and not the wing spoiler.

Also if you're like me you'll be throwing away the moonroof visor within a week. The built in pop-up deflector already does a fine job of cancelling wind buffeting, and it just looks stupid and restricts visibility.

Sound like a good deal. Congrats!
