I'm writing a paper on looping for one of my education classes. This concept, also known as multi-year placement, is when a teacher teaches his/her students for two or more years. For example, she will teach her first graders and then follow them into second grade.

I was wondering if any of you had experienced this when you were younger. If so, would you like to be interviewed? (The paper is due next Tuesday!) I was hoping to get some opinions of a student who has been through it....

I had this happen from Kindergarden to 1st grade.

Let me tell ya, the separation issues going into 2nd grade sucked.




I also had my 2nd grade teacher as my 7th grade ... that was weird too.

I was not "looped". I had a different teacher each year.

The concept of switching classes was exciting to me in 4th grade

 

freedom writers came to mind but that was HS

i never had the same teacher in elementary school

 

I used to always make fun of this albino kid for being a freak because he made fun of me for wearing sports shirts just about every day Not my fault Michael Jordan was God and I recognized it.
