Default Where in America would you NOT want to live?

I don't think this has been done, if it has then I missed it.

So...where would you rather denounce yourself as an American and live in Ethiopia than live there in America?

Texas keeps popping into my head, but I can't narrow it down. Everywhere else I am thinking of has some cool/beauty/something about it that I would love.

The countryside is actually a nice place to live...you get nice serene areas but still close enough to a city....USUALLY
