I played it at VGXPO and loved it. My band so far is already set. I'm on drums and 2 of my homies are on guitar while we have a friend with a mic who does karaoke

Kinda lame. Looks just like Guitar hero.
It will be terrible on non widescreen or smaller TVs.

If this was out when I was in high school band, it would have been a blast to have some of my friends that were killer on the drum set to do it.

I think you can select the instruments you want to play. You sign in as player 1, 2 (optional), 3 (optional), and 4 (optional), then assign instruments.

When playing GHIII doubles, you barely notice the other guys half of the screen. You're so focused on your track, it's like there's nothing else.

I don't even see the backgrounds.



It's made by the guys who did Guitar Hero II, Harmonix Studios.

The mentality is, if you don't have a widescreen TV, you're not going to play $170+tax for a game.

but i suspect it will get old really quick like GH2, i played it for like 2 months and now it collects dust

My friends got it on PS3 and swear its the best game they've played. I'll check it out in the next few weeks.
