They just reported during the World Series that A-Rod is opting out of his contract in NY. He was in So Cal a couple weeks ago meeting with his agent Scott Boras. Maybe he's thinking of coming to Anaheim :x:

They mentioned and I think they're right in that Torre leaving played a big part in his decision. I doubt Rivera will come back either. A lot of those guys have a lot of loyalty to him
