Default LCD TV Squad, Need some input.

Ok I am a n00b to Tv's. My parents need one and asked for my input.

Size- 46' LCD
1080p

I assume they would want one that lasts for ahwile, so i understand you get what you pay for. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

It all depends on the budget.

$2000, check.

Question, what size TV are they replacing? Remember, these sizes go from corner to corner on a wider screen. 46" LCD might not be as tall as they're used to before.
