Default Toggle switch wiring question

I am installing a second pump on my windshield wiper fluid reservoir to make a DIY intercooler sprayer. My question is, I have a 3 pronged toggle switch like the one below to turn the pump on and off. What wires go to what prongs? My guess is pictured below, but please tell me if I am wrong. Thanks.

call me nuts ... but do you always need to wire the middle prong?

Also, is the fuse box going to power the pump?

I always get a click switch (2 prongs).

Yeah, I want to have the power come from the fusebox instead of directly from the battery because I think it's safer. I was only able to find 3 pronged switches at autozone.

Radio Shack homie. There's a wall of different switches. They're like $3 each.

Make sure to run an inline fuse.

Oh I see. But if I want to still use the 3-pronged, I can do the setup I originally posted right?
