Default Visual Basics crew....HALP

I want to save a file that the user specify but im having a problem getting the data there. For example, what is going on is. When they click save as, it brings up the dialog box. Once the dialog box opens and they input a new name it saves the file. But when i go to open the file, it's blank and nothing is in it. When there should be text within the document.

HALP!!!

Yeah I found it to be a bitch....so what I would do is just save the .vb file and paste the code into a new project

Ok, back up....first of all, are you using vbscript, vb xx or vb.net?

Second, when they go to save, it says it saves, but doesnt save the file, or what? Was the file there first or did it create new?
