mny brother left me 2 laptops... i dont have them with me right now so i cant give you anymore details other that they are white h:


Anywais i dont have the chargers so i was just wondering if the chargers are standard for all macs? They are both non working but i figured i could probably make 1 fonctinal out of both :dunno:

My friend's MacBook had this plug that looked like an audio video cable terminal.

The one on the GF's kinda looks the same, but has this weird center wire running down the middle of the terminal.



Also, you might need to verify the guts of the machine. With my Dell (I know, not the same thing), but I picked up a replacement adapter. It was the wrong watt rating. It was off by 30 and the machine wouldn't charge.

The plug / jack fit just fine, but the power specs were slightly off.

The iBook/Powerbooks are the same if they look the same. My mom's iBook (bought in 03) has the same charger as my Powerbook (bought in 05)... pretty sure all the new MagSafe ones are the same as well...

hmmm... i will try to get a little bit more info on these 2 laptops. it's a weird jack though. the middle part is big. Maybe if i take a pic you guy would be able to help me out.

if it's the new macbook or macbook pro they use the new magnetic connector tip which is patented and not licensed to anyone so you have to shell out money and buy one from apple.

if it's the older model apples uses either the G or the Q tip and 24V usually 65W or less power brick.
