I still want to know where they came from and how they became to be, that ship of theirs was creepy looking, i thought they had an army with them :rofl:

They were going house to house and I believe that vampire would have found them if it wasn't for that moron looking for his dad and yelling, causing a distraction.

That big dude was cool as shit. He bought some comedy to the movie. They had the perfect guy with them in that situation. A hard-headed, I don't give a fuck, fuck you kinda attitude.:rofl:

I believe from the movie that they've always existed and the ship was a symbol of their arrival to new land or this case Alaska. Seems like they travel from place to place. Remember the leader saying something like "We should have come here hundreds of years ago"? I think he meant out of all the areas they picked, this one he liked. [/SPOILER]

Just saw it. I enjoyed it very much.

 

I saw it last weekend. I really liked it, mainly because it had a plot...and Melissa George isn't too bad. :naughty:

So I just saw it, and I loved it. For those who haven't seen it, I think it's much better than "typical" vampire movies that glorify and make vampires sheek and stylish/sexy (ie, underworld). The imagery of the vamipres is very artistically done, and has much more of an authentic feel to it.

And for those who HAVE seen it...

[spoiler=ending question]...When stella kissed Evan at the end, when he was a vampire, and then he died...did anybody see the look on stella's face at the VERY end? To me, it looked like her eyes had changed and that...with that kiss, she somehow got the vampire virus (or whatever it is) and yet could withstand the sun? My buddy told me that he didn't see it and that I'm reading far too into it, but Stella's face/look after Evan died looked very eerie to me.

Also, When Evan punches through the "boss"'s mouth = FUCKING BOOOMB![/spoiler]
